Instructions for temporary access companies

EVALUATE THE TYPE OF ACCESS

If the Company (or the visitor) with which you do business visits at a very low frequency (once a year or less), you should consider this Company’s access needs to be temporary.

During access to MGTP terminals

Given that the Company (or the visit) has been admitted as temporary, the manager responsible for this Company will have to send an access authorization email to mgtsecurity@mtrtml.com.
Steps:

  • The manager must send an email to mgtsecurity@mtrtml.com
  • The manager must include the following information in its request email:
    • Company name
    • Reason for the visit
    • Duration of the visit
    • Place of the visit
  • The employees of the temporarily admitted Company must report to the  security office to obtain temporary access cards. These cards will allow them access according to their needs.
  • Don’t forget to ask the persons concerned to bring their ID.

 

After the visit to the MGTP terminals

  • In Section 62, recover the cards and deposit them in the recovery box on the 3rd floor of the Administration Building.
  • In Section 77, ask your guests to deposit their card at the security office.

 


FAQ

How can I know if the Company with which I do business needs temporary access?

If the employees of the Company with which you do business only visit once a year or less, you should consider its access needs as temporary.

How can I know the current status of the Companies doing business for me?

You can access the MGTP website under Providers/Sponsored Organizations.

If the Company with which I do business needs temporary access, what must I do as a department head?

You must notify Security by email and include the details on the Company name, the duration of the visit, the dates of the visit and the places that will be visited.

Then inform the Company with which you do business to report to the security office. The directions to the office are available on the website at http://www.mtrtml.com/maps/index.php#Reception

Will it take a long time for my visitor to obtain his card at the security office?

Normally it takes 5 minutes. Unfortunately, sometimes several people are in line for service at reception.

What are the differences between Companies that have permanent, occasional or temporary access needs?

Permanent = Companies that have an almost daily business relationship with MGTP
Occasional = Companies that visit a few times per month or per year after service calls.
Temporary = Company or person who visits only once, or very rarely.
